Geek Chef Toaster 4 Slice Classic

The Geek Chef Toaster 4 Slice Classic is another four slot toaster. It features wider slots to accommodate the use of different types of bread. The toaster has 6 bread shade settings, a double high lift level, two removable crumb trays and a Bagel setting along with the traditional Cancel and Defrost settings.

The Toaster 4 Slice Classic features four slots for bread, which are extra wide for convenience. These slots allow for thicker bagels and muffins to be toasters just as well as thinner bread slices. The toaster uses dual independent control panels, which allows you to make toast of varying degrees simultaneously.

The toaster features three basic functions. By pushing down the level, as with most toasters, you can begin the toasting process, but it can be stopped at any time with the Cancel button. This quickly stops the toasting and makes the toaster eject the bread.

The special Bagel setting needs to be turned on for thicker bread, bagel and muffin toasting. This function will allow for throughout toasting. The Defrost setting will bring whatever you have added to the toaster to be brought up to room temperature in a matter of minutes.

The toaster comes with 6 bread shade settings. The shades range between warm-up, light brown, golden brown, crispy and dark to ensure your toast is perfect. As this is an automatic pop-up toaster, the toaster will eject the toast when the bread has been toasted as per the chosen settings.

The toaster’s two removable crumb trays are located in the back. In order to clean the appliance, these need to be removed, emptied/washed and reinserted.

The Cuisinart CPT-180P1 is a four slice toaster with a wider toasting area and a dual control panel. The toaster offers 6 toasting settings and dual Defrost, Reheat and Cancel functions. The removable crumb tray makes the appliance’s cleaning painless.

The Cuisinart CPT-180P1 features four 1,5” wide slots that enable most types of bread to be toasted. This allows the waffles, bagels, muffins and thicker slices of bread to be toasted. The dual settings allow different settings to be enabled for each side.

It features six bread shade settings, allowing everyone to make perfectly toasted bread to their liking. Additionally, the toaster features a Defrost, Bagel, Reheat and Cancel options. All of these buttons are enhanced with LED lighting.

The toaster’s two sides function independently. They are not connected, which ensures the toasts will not be burnt if one side is toasting to a higher shade level.

The Reheat and Defrost functions also come in handy and work exceptionally. Defrosting bread with this toaster does not leave it soggy, while the reheating option does not further dry out the toast. The Reheating setting is more useful as the toaster does not make a sound when the toast is popped out. You might miss it if you are not paying attention and will need to reheat the toast.

The toaster features a long cord, but it will not be a problem to pack it away. The toaster’s bottom features an area where the cord can be neatly tucked away, out of sight and harms’ way.

Hamilton Beach Digital 4 Slice Extra

The Hamilton Beach Digital 4 Slice Extra model is a digital, four-slice toaster with extra wide slots. It comes with 6 browning settings, and function buttons for defrosting, canceling, reheating, and toasting bagels and thicker bread.

The toaster is able to toast and reheat bagels and muffins as well. For a user-friendly experience, the toaster also features two removable crumb trays for easy cleaning.

The Hamilton Beach Digital 4 Slice Extra makes excellent toast. The four, extra wide slots allow the toaster to make toast from versatile types of bread, without deforming the slices. The six browning settings allow you to make the perfect toast to your liking.

This digital toaster allows you to choose between light and crispy toast functions. The toasting setting can be adjusted with the “+” and “-” buttons on both sides of the toaster, while the blue-light digital display shows the number selected. 

The Cancel, Reheat, Bagel and Defrost functions work perfectly. When using the Bagel function, the toaster is able to toast and reheat thicker bread, bagels and muffins without issues. Additionally, the appliance is very easy to use. Just put the bread in, select the required settings and push the lever down. The toaster features a “Toast Boost” lever, which enables easier access and removal after it finishes its job.

The removable crumb trays allow the toaster to be easily cleaned. These trays can be removed, emptied and cleaned without issue. Once the trays are reinserted into the toaster, it can resume its functions. The only issue you might notice is that sometimes the toast lever needs a bit of fidgeting to stay down.

The toaster has a stainless steel coating for a sleek look and light blue lights are added to the function buttons for a modern aesthetic. It is a perfect addition to any kitchen.

This toaster comes at a reasonable price. It is not overpriced like some other ones in the same category.

The Cuisinart CPT-320P1 is a compact, two slice toaster. It comes in two color variations: black-gray and red-gray. The toaster features a 6 bread shade dial, with additional settings such as Defrost, Cancel, Reheat and Bagel (for toasting thicker bread slices and bagels). 

The Cuisinart CPT-320P1 has a compact design, which comes in handy in most kitchens. This appliance does not take up unnecessary counter space in your kitchen. 

The toaster features 1.5” wide slots, perfect for a wide variety of breads. This allows the toaster to be used for sliced bread, French toast, bagels, toasted pastries, and frozen pancakes. It also comes with a high lift lever, ensuring the toast can be easily removed from the slots. The toaster’s functions include 6 bread shade settings, defrosting, reheating and bagel roasting, all of which work perfectly. 

The 6 toasting settings are able to produce light, medium and dark shades of toasts of a varying degree, allowing everyone to make their desired toast. The Bagel setting heats the top of the bagel as it turns on the upper heating elements only, while the bottom is kept soft.

The Defrost setting also comes with 6 degrees, depending on how frozen and thick the toasted items are. For pancakes or refrigerated bread the first two settings are enough, while thicker bread and frozen goods will need the 5th and 6th setting to be completely defrosted. The Reheat function does not toast the bread, it just reheats the bread or toast.

The Cuisinart CPT-320P1 features a removable crumb tray that will ensure the toaster is easily kept clean. This tray just needs to be removed, emptied and cleaned to keep the toaster clean throughout its lifetime.

Keenstone Toaster 2 Slice

The Keenstone Toaster 2 Slice is a stylish retro, 2 slot toaster, which comes in three colors: black, blue and cream. It features a LED times display, 3 functions and 6 toasting settings, and offers a user-friendly performance. The toaster was manufactured using stainless steel and operates at 120 volts.

The Keenstone Toaster 2 Slice was designed in a retro style, which will lighten up any kitchen countertop. 

The toaster features an LED digital timer, and other LED displays to ensure the appliance functions correctly. The digital displays allow for an easy and effortless control over the toaster. 

It comes with three additional functions: Cancel, Defrost and Reheat. The Cancel button, like with all toasters, stops the toasting immediately. The Defrost setting adds 20 seconds to the toasting time in order to heat up the bread first. The Reheating function heats the bread for 30 seconds at the selected level (1 to 6). 

The 6 bread shade settings allow you to make the toast you wish. These levels make light, medium and dark toasted bread, depending on the chosen toasting setting. However, the toaster does have a tendency to overdo the toast a bit, so you might need to play around with the settings to get them to work for you. 

Additional features include the removable crumb tray, the high lift lever, the extra wide slots and the cord storage area. The crumb tray ensures the toaster is easily cleaned and emptied of crumbs, in order to prevent them from burning. The higher lift lever allows better access to the toast, while the wider slots offer toasting options for versatile bread types.

The toasters’ cord can be tucked away in its bottom, away from harms’ way when the toaster is not in use. It also features a non-clip base and is made of fire-resistant materials to improve its functioning safety.

Keenstone Retro Toaster 4 Slice

The Keenstone Retro Toaster 4 Slice, as its name suggests, is a four slot toaster. It is manufactured using stainless steel and has 5 different color options as its coating. The paired slots can work independently, as the toaster features dual settings. The toaster also features removable crumb trays, 6 bread shade settings and other useful functions.

The Keenstone Retro Toaster 4 Slice features a retro style. It was manufactured from stainless steel and given a colored outer layer. The toaster comes in 5 versatile colors, all with their unique retro edge: white, black, red, green and beige. 

This is a dual-function toaster, with four 1.5” slots for extra convenience. The slots are paired and function independently, as the dual function settings command a pair each. This will allow you to make toast at different shade settings without issues. The wider slots allow bagels, English muffins and waffles to be toaster and reheated as well.

The toaster features 6 bread shade settings, from 1 to 6. This allows the toaster to make toast with light, medium and dark shades and varying crunchiness. The Bagel function only heats one side of the bagel, allowing it to maintain its softness on one side. The Cancel button stops the toasting right away, while the Reheating setting heats the toast up to the chosen levels (this can be controlled with the bread shade settings).

Each of the slot pairs have their own removable crumb trays. They are located at the toaster’s back and offer easy access to cleaning the appliance. By removing and emptying these trays, the toaster is ready for its next use. 

The toaster takes a bit of time to heat up and to cool down. This may present itself as an issue as the first batch of toast will take longer to make, while the consecutive ones may be burnt. It is recommended to keep an eye on the toast and to play around with the setting to see what works best for you.

Elite Gourmet ECT4829B

Elite Gourmet ECT4829B offers a space-saving, long slot design which allows for 4 slices of bread to be toasted. The widened slots accommodate a variety of specialty breads, and feature self centering guides which ensure the toast is evenly toasted. It comes in black and white colors. 

The Elite Gourmet ECT4829 is a four slice toaster, but it only features two long slots. This offers a better compact design, ensuring that the appliance will not take up unnecessary counter space.

The slots are 10” long and 1.5” wide, which enables the toaster to accommodate different types of bread and pastries – from thicker bread slices, to waffles and bagels, this toaster can handle everything. The 10” long slots also allow for wider bread slices to be toasted.

The two slots feature special self centering guides, which literally center the slices inside the slots. This ensures the slice is thoroughly and evenly toasted every time. This toaster is not a dual function one. All four slices will be toasted in the same manner, which will lengthen the preparation if different types of toasts are needed. 

The Elite Gourmet ECT4829’s settings include Cancel, Defrost and Reheat and it features a 6 degree toasting scale. They enable the toasters’ user-friendly application. The 6 different toasting settings enable the toaster to make light, medium and dark toasted pastries and bread. However, you will need to play around with the setting a bit to figure out how to make the perfect toast. The Cancel, Reheat and Defrost buttons enable the user to manipulate the toaster to function in the desired manner.

The toaster quickly cools down after use, while the appliance itself stays cool to the touch at all times. This prevents the toaster from overheating and from causing unwanted kitchen accidents. The non-skid feet and bottom area keep the toaster in place.

Elite Gourmet Maxi-Matic ERT-6067

The Elite Gourmet Maxi-Matic ERT-6067 is a two in one appliance. It is a retro style toaster AND a radio all in one. It is a functioning radio appliance, while its toaster part offers 6 adjustable browning settings. The toaster features a useful bagel setting as well. 

The Elite Gourmet Maxi-Matic ERT-6067 is the perfect and unique combination of a toaster and an AM/FM radio. It offers a retro style aesthetic, with the appliance completely resembling a small radio from the 1950s.

It’s toaster part has an easy-to-use two slot functionality with 1.5” wide slots to accommodate versatile types of breads and pastries. It features 6 browning settings, which can be adjusted based on taste from light, to medium and dark toasting.

Additionally, the toaster has a Cancel, Bagel and Defrost options, which are located on its side next to the lever. With just a push of a button, they can be used for the toasting process. However, the toaster has the tendency to burn one side of the slice better than the other. This uneven toasting might be the result of the toaster/radio combination.

The toaster has a crumb tray and it’s located on its side. By removing it, the toaster can be cleaned of the crumbs with ease. Just insert the tray back and it is ready for the next toasting cycle. 

The radio part of the appliance features an AM/FM radio with an antenna that is able to store up to 10 radio channels. The radio uses built-in speakers and volume controls to optimize your morning jam session.

The toaster’s side features an auxiliary input, which allows your phone to be connected with the speakers and for you to listen to your favourite music while being busy in the kitchen. The radio display also emits a strong neon green light that can light up your kitchen at night.

It comes with 7 bread shade settings, which can be chosen to serve the required toast. The turn dial allows you to choose the shade setting, which ranges from light to dark. However, the toasting time can be further customized with the additional functions available. 

The extra functions – Frozen, Bagel and Pastry – ensure add extra seconds to the toasting process and/or regulate the heating method to optimize how well toasted the slices will come out, whether you are toasting bread or bagels. These ensure a reasonably accurate toasting.

The Bagel function only heats one side of the elements, while the Pastry function reheats pastries added to the toaster. The Frozen function allows you to defrost bread and other pastries by lengthening the toasting time.

The Oster TSSTTRJBG1’s crumb tray, like with most toasters, allows the toaster’s painless cleaning. 

The cord placement is on the toaster’s side, which may be inconvenient for most consumers for storage. 

Cuisinart CPT-2400P1

Cuisinart CPT-2400P1 is an extra wide, 4 slice toaster which features two 10” long slots. This toaster has four basic functions and 6 shade settings that can be combined to make the perfect toast to your liking. The slots feature self-centering guides that ensure even toasting every time.

The Cuisinart CPT-2400P1 is a two or four slice toaster. It features two long 10”x1.5” slots that can accommodate different pastries and bread. The longer slots allow 4 small or 2 wide slices of bread to be toasted at the same time. This allows multiple pieces of artisanal bread, bagels and English muffins to be toasted concurrently. However, as it only has one dial, both slots will toast in the same manner. 

The toaster comes with four basic functions and 6 bread shade levels. Apart from Toasting, it offers settings for Bagel, Reheating and Defrosting, while also featuring a Cancel button. The Bagel setting only toasts one side, to keep the bagel both soft and crunchy. The Reheating option heats up the toast without burning it, while the Defrosting setting adds seconds to the toasting time to adjust the toasting of frozen bread and pastries.

The special self-centering guides located in the slots allow the toaster to center the bread. This enables the toaster to evenly toast both sides of the bread without issues. While the end result is not perfect, it still makes a reasonably accurate toast – based on the settings chosen. Another neat feature is the Hi-lift Lever, which gives easier access to the toast once it is done.

The Cuisinart CPT-2400P1 is manufactured with a chrome housing. It comes in a single color scheme, one we would call off-white. Again, the cord placement is a bit awkward. It is placed on the front of the toaster, which is a bit annoying to maneuver at times.
